Charles Plummer. Pictorial Supplement to the Queenslander, 25 September 1915 – The Roll of Honour, p28

Charles Edward Plummer : born Woodside on 16 June 1887.  He was a kangaroo shooter of Queensland.

Parents : Charles Plummer and Elizabeth Thompson, of Kumnick Hill Road, Lenswood (current location name).

Enlisted : SERN 755 – enlisted 12 December 1914 – enlisted in the  2nd light horse brigade as Albert Anderson at Cunnamulka, Queensland.

Action : Left Brisbane on the Itria on 9 February, 1915 and sent to the front 8 July 1915.  Fought on Gallipoli Peninsula.  See AIF projectAustralian War Memorial and National Archives for further information.

Died : Killed in action at Gallipoli 7 August 1915

Buried : Quinns Post Cemetery, Gallipoli
