Albert Henry Norton : born Norton Summit, South Australia on 13 May 1877 (birth registered as Magill).  Bert was a gardener.

Parents : Charles Norton and Jane Davis.

EnlistedService Number 5742 – enlisted at Keswick, South Australia, on 29 November 1915.  He was 38.  10th Battalion.

Action : Left Melbourne for France aboard the Barambah on 27 June 1916.  Received Victory Medal.  See AIF projectAustralian War Memorial and National Archives for further information.

Died : Bronchitis and asthma in Number 1 General Hospital, Etratant, France.
